ERASMUS+ MEETING IN POLAND SP9 ELBLĄG part 1

The ERASMUS+ meeting in Poland is in full swing. The first official day of our meeting began with the assembly. Our guests from the United Kingdom and Spain had a chance to see some performances which had been prepared by teachers and students. Here are the photos: We also held a video call on ZOOM with the British students from Branston Junior Academy. The Branston students have presented the part of the book they wrote: the plot, the main character, and the drawings. Participants: Year 7 and 8 students from Szkoła Podstawowa nr 9 Students from Branston Junior Academy Teachers from England: Miss Perkins and Mrs. James. Teachers from Spain from Escola Sant Josep : Miss Prados Gutiérrez and Miss.Okularczyk Teachers from Poland: Mrs. Świętoń, Mrs. Nowacka, Mrs. Ekes, Mr. Podolski, Mrs. Świercz-Rybicka

MY FIRST VISIT TO A LIBRARY

The story of how kindergarten children became readers On the 20th April 2018 children and their teachers from kindergarten 21 visited our school library. The preschoolers learned about the new place with interest. During the visit, the children had the opportunity to go between the bookshelves and get acquainted with the library. Children were very interested in books on the shelves, but what caught their attention completely was the "Reading Corner" for children. Everyone liked the colorful and richly illustrated books, which they happily watched and commented on. During the meeting as part of the Erasmus + project "Dream A Little Dream", students from the Friends of Books Group presented a fairy tale "Quintuplets", and every kindergarten teacher and educator received a bookmark from the librarian. At the end, the children could take home their first books borrowed from the school library.
